Basic things to take note of when buying a set of clubs ๐:
1) The length of the club
2) The type and stiffness of the club shaft
3) The size of the grip
All of the above affect your golf swing, your posture and your body mechanics, so make sure it is right for you. ๐๏ธโโ๏ธ๐๏ธโโ๏ธ
1) If your clubs are too long, it will be hard to control and it will be more like swinging baseball bat.โพ๏ธ If your clubs are too short, you'll be hunched over trying to swing, limiting your ability to rotate and putting more stress on your lower back (hello back pain ๐ฅ๐๐ฅ)
โ
2) If your club shaft is too firm you'll lose plenty of distance when striking the ball and if it is too flexible you'll be hitting all kinds of off target and wonky shots from torquing out the club. ๐ฏโณ
โ
3) As for grip, when you wrap your top hand around the club, your middle and index finger should be slightly touching the meaty part of your palm just below the thumb (thenar eminence) โ
It is important to note that you dont need to the most advanced, most recent or most expensive equipment in order to enjoy the game; you just need equipment that complements you! ๐ค๐ผ๐ซ๐ฒ โ
Featured in this picture is my new Cobra King F8 set that I am ecstatic to use! ๐ค๐โโ๏ธ I immediately noticed a difference when playing with them - less fatigue near the end of the round, smoother swing, more on target shots and further ball flight distance! ๐
